The InLine 17250O DisplayPort cable is a 50 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) with Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort connectors and a compact 4.8 mm diameter. Designed to deliver high-quality video and audio transmission over long distances, it combines a slim, flexible construction with certified safety and compliance, making it suitable for professional and private installations.

Advantages

The DisplayPort 1.4 AOC technology ensures stable, high-bandwidth signal transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference and minimal signal loss over long runs. The cable's compact diameter and lightweight design simplify routing and installation in confined spaces. RoHS compliance and the TÜV mark provide documented safety and environmental conformity.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers or laptops with Mini DisplayPort output to DisplayPort monitors or projectors over long distances
• Professional AV installations in conference rooms and auditoriums
• Home setups where long cable runs are required without compromising video quality

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Connectors: Mini DisplayPort / DisplayPort
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (DisplayPort 1.4 AOC)
• Diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Compliance: RoHS; TÜV marked

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source device and the DisplayPort end to the display device, ensuring secure seating in both ports. Use gentle routing to avoid sharp bends; maintain the natural bend radius of the optical cable. For optimal operation, avoid placing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources or extremely high-heat areas. No external power is normally required for standard DisplayPort connections using this AOC.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid repeated tight bending and protect the connectors from mechanical stress when installing in racks or wall channels. Verify source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 features if you need the full bandwidth and advanced video capabilities.
