InLine 57885A HDMI-videoswitch

Ultra HD perfection:Supports 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz for impressive picture quality in home cinema and professional AV applications.
Versatile audio output:Choose between HDMI (audio only), optical (SPDIF) or analogue (3.5 mm jack) – ideal for modern and classic audio systems.
eARC, CEC and EDID for optimal integration:Maximum compatibility with modern AV receivers and automatic control via HDMI connections.
Manual and automatic switching:Flexible control via IR remote control or directly on the device – for maximum ease of use.
Future-proof with HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3: Best performance with maximum compatibility – even for upcoming video and audio formats.

The InLine HDMI Switch 4-way with audio decoupling brings high-end connectivity and maximum flexibility to your AV setup. It allows you to connect up to four HDMI sources to a single display with eARC support – ideal for home cinema enthusiasts, gamers or professional AV installations.
With support for video resolutions up to 8K@60Hz (4:2:0, 12-bit) and 4K@120Hz (4:4:4, 12-bit), you'll experience crystal-clear images with rich colour depth. The switch processes modern colour spaces and HDR formats such as HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG to reproduce every detail faithfully.
A special highlight is the audio extraction: in addition to HDMI audio only, the device also offers outputs for optical SPDIF and analogue stereo output via 3.5 mm jack. This allows both modern AV receivers and classic sound systems to be connected without any problems. Control is convenient via the supplied IR remote control or directly via the keypad on the device.
Thanks to eARC and CEC support as well as switchable EDID modes (2.0 / 5.1 / 7.1 / PASS), the switch adapts flexibly to your audio and video environment. Automatic source switching can be deactivated if required. A USB-C port enables firmware updates and ensures long-term compatibility with new standards.
The robust metal housing ensures durability, while ESD protection, an external plug-in power supply with lock and well-designed connection options facilitate professional installations.

How to use

Connect up to four HDMI source devices to the HDMI IN ports and connect the display to the HDMI OUT with eARC for best audio return capability. If you need to extract audio separately, use the HDMI audio-only output, optical SPDIF or the 3.5 mm analogue output to feed your sound system. Select sources using the front-panel buttons, the supplied IR remote control or rely on CEC/automatic switching; automatic switching can be disabled if manual control is preferred. Use the USB-C service port to update firmware when updates are released.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-speed HDMI cables rated for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth (48 Gbps) for sources and displays that require 4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz. When connecting legacy audio equipment, verify audio format compatibility and choose the appropriate SPDIF or analogue output. Ensure adequate ventilation around the metal housing and connect the lockable power adapter securely for stable operation.
