InLine Cat.6A koppeling, waterdicht IP68, 2x RJ45 F/F, 1:1

The InLine Cat.6A Coupling Waterproof IP68 2x RJ45 F/F 1:1 is a rugged inline connector designed to join two RJ45 Ethernet cables while maintaining Cat6A signal standards in outdoor or harsh environments. With an IP68-rated housing and a 1:1 wired RJ45 female-to-female configuration, this black coupling enables straightforward extension of network runs without altering pin assignments or signal mapping. It is intended for use where protection from dust and water ingress is required and where high-speed data transmission and signal integrity must be preserved.

Advantages

The IP68-rated enclosure provides dust-tight protection and continuous immersion resistance, helping to safeguard RJ45 terminations from moisture and contaminants. Supporting Cat6A performance, the coupling preserves up to 10 Gbps transmission characteristics and improved shielding compared with lower-category connectors. The simple 1:1 female-to-female wiring keeps cable pinouts consistent and avoids retermination, while the compact black housing offers discreet installation in visible or exposed locations.

Suitable for

• Extending outdoor Ethernet runs between buildings, cabinets, or devices
• Connecting networked surveillance cameras and PoE devices in exposed locations
• Industrial environments where dust and water protection are required
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations that may be exposed to weather

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 female to RJ45 female, 1:1 wiring
• Cable category support: Cat6A compatible for high-speed Ethernet
• Ingress protection: IP68 rated for dust and water resistance
• Housing colour: Black
• Application environment: Outdoor and industrial use

How to use

Ensure both Ethernet cables have properly terminated RJ45 plugs and are free of damage. Open the coupling housing if required, insert each RJ45 plug into the corresponding female jack until it clicks into place, and then secure the housing according to the product's fastening method to maintain the IP68 seal. Verify network connectivity and link speed after installation. For PoE devices, confirm that power and data pass through correctly and that the coupling remains within the power budget of connected equipment.

Recommendations

Install the coupling where mechanical strain is minimized and avoid sharp bends near the connector. Periodically inspect seals and cable entry points for wear or damage, especially after exposure to extreme weather. Use appropriate cable glands and mounting supports when fixing the coupling in place to preserve IP68 performance and maintain consistent Cat6A signal quality.
