InLine DC-verlengkabel, DC-stekker/bus 5,5 x 2,5 mm, AWG 18, zwart 3 m

InLine DC extension cable 5.5x2.5mm AWG 18 black 3m is a 3-meter power extension lead with 5.5 x 2.5 mm female and male DC connectors. The cable is designed for low-voltage DC power extension and is suitable for extending 12V power supplies where a reliable connection and adequate current capacity are required.

Advantages

The AWG 18 conductor size supports currents up to 11.6 A and provides low voltage drop over the 3 m length. The standardized 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC plugs ensure compatibility with a wide range of 12V devices and power adapters. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance and basic protection against wear in typical indoor installations.

Suitable for

• Extending power to routers, modems and network equipment
• Powering CCTV cameras and security devices
• Connecting LED strips and small 12V lighting fixtures
• Temporary power extension for audio/video equipment

How to use

Verify that the device and power supply both use 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC connectors and that the required voltage does not exceed 12 V. Connect the male plug to the power supply or extension output and the female connector to the device's DC input. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors. For permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or ties to prevent movement.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the specified current rating of 11.6 A and avoid using the cable with voltages higher than 12 V. For outdoor or wet environments, use a cable and connectors rated for outdoor use and provide additional protection against moisture.
