InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC-kabel, 8K4K, zwart, 25 m

The InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable 8K4K black 25m is an active optical DisplayPort cable designed to transmit high-resolution video signals reliably over long distances. Supporting up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, this 25 meter cable provides a stable connection between DisplayPort-equipped source devices and displays while minimizing signal degradation and electromagnetic interference. The cable is finished in black and equipped with DisplayPort connectors on both ends for straightforward plug-and-play use.

Advantages

This DisplayPort 1.4 AOC cable combines active optical transmission with standard DisplayPort connectors to deliver high bandwidth over 25 meters without the bulk and signal loss typical of long copper cables. It supports high refresh rates and high resolutions required by professional video workflows and gaming, while the optical design reduces susceptibility to EMI and ensures consistent image quality. The cable's length and flexible construction make installation easier in large rooms, studios, or conference spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to remote monitors or projectors over long distances
• Professional video editing and color grading setups requiring high resolution and refresh rate
• High-performance gaming rigs driving 4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz displays
• Conference rooms, lecture halls, and presentation systems where cable runs exceed typical copper cable limits

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Display standard: DisplayPort 1.4 compatible
• Maximum supported resolution and refresh rate: up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Cable length: 25 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the DisplayPort output of the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input of the monitor or projector. Ensure both devices support the target resolution and refresh rate; adjust display settings in the operating system or GPU control panel as needed. No external power supply is typically required for passive DisplayPort connectors, but confirm device compatibility and power requirements in case the connected hardware needs additional support for active cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bends with a radius smaller than the cable manufacturer’s recommended minimum. Verify that both source and display firmware and drivers are up to date to ensure full compatibility with DisplayPort 1.4 features such as high refresh rates and HDR. When using 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz, check GPU output settings and monitor capabilities to confirm supported color depth and chroma subsampling.
