InLine DisplayPort-adapter, DisplayPort male / mini DisplayPort female, 4K/60Hz

The InLine DisplayPort Adapter InLine 17196A is a bidirectional adapter that connects DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort interfaces. It features a DisplayPort male to Mini DisplayPort female connection, gold-plated contacts and a compact black housing, enabling signal conversion between compatible source devices and displays while supporting high-definition output up to 4K at 60Hz.

Advantages

Supports bidirectional conversion between DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort, gold-plated contacts for improved signal integrity and corrosion resistance, compact and lightweight design for easy placement and transport, and compatibility with devices that use DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort output (desktop GPU, docking station) to a Mini DisplayPort display
• Connecting a Mini DisplayPort output (laptop, MacBook) to a DisplayPort monitor
• Temporarily adapting between devices during meetings, presentations or workstation setups

The adapter functions bidirectionally; use it to convert signals from DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort or from Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort as required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort cables, avoid sharp bends or excessive stress on the connector, and verify that connected devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate (4K @ 60Hz). Disconnect by holding the adapter housing rather than pulling the cable.
