The InLine® Mini-SAS HD cable (SFF-8643 to SFF-8643) provides a reliable and powerful connection for professional server and storage environments. With support for up to 4x 12Gb/s, it is ideal for use in high-performance computers, data centers, and NAS systems where large amounts of data need to be transferred quickly and securely.
With Mini-SAS HD connectors (SFF-8643) on both ends, the cable is specially designed for internal use and enables direct connection of SAS controllers to backplanes. This ensures stable and low-loss signal transmission—a decisive advantage for administrators who depend on maximum operational reliability.
Whether for individual server configurations, the expansion of storage solutions, or the construction of complex data systems, this cable provides the flexibility and reliability required by modern IT infrastructures.
This makes the InLine® Mini-SAS HD cable the first choice for companies that value high-performance and future-proof connection technology.

InLine Mini SAS HD Cable SFF-8643 to SFF-8643 with Sideband 1m. Cable length: 1 m, Connector 1: SFF-8643, Connector 2: SFF-8643. Package width: 130 mm, Package depth: 150 mm, Package height: 20 mm. Package volume: 400 cm³

How to use

Install the cable internally by aligning each SFF-8643 connector with the corresponding Mini SAS HD port on the controller, backplane or storage device, then press until the connector seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and interference with cooling airflow. Ensure devices are powered off when making or removing connections to protect hardware and data.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Mini SAS HD cable for short internal connections within server chassis or between adjacent rack units. Inspect connectors for debris before insertion and avoid tight bends; replace the cable if physical damage or intermittent connections occur.
