Intamsys ULTEM 9085 is a high-performance polyetherimide (PEI) filament designed for demanding industrial applications. This 1.75mm diameter filament offers exceptional strength, heat resistance, and flame retardancy, making it ideal for aerospace, automotive, medical, and prototyping uses. The 0.5kg spool is vacuum sealed with desiccant to ensure optimal printing quality.

Advantages

ULTEM 9085 provides outstanding mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (85 MPa yield) and excellent chemical resistance. It has a glass transition temperature of 186°C and a heat deflection temperature of 177°C, enabling parts to withstand extreme environments. The material is UL94 V-0 rated for flame retardancy and offers good UV resistance.

Recommendations

For best results, use a printer capable of reaching nozzle temperatures of at least 350°C and a heated bed up to 160°C. Store filament in a dry environment and dry before use if moisture absorption is suspected. Ensure proper ventilation during printing due to potential fumes.
