Intellinet glasvezel-patchkabel, OM3, LC/LC, 5m, aqua, duplex, multimode, 50/125 µm, LSZH, vezel, levenslange garantie

The Intellinet Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM3 LC/LC 5m Aqua Duplex Multimode is a 5 metre duplex multimode patch cable with LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter, designed for full-duplex high-speed data transmission. The cable jacket is made from LSZH material, providing low smoke and halogen-free properties suitable for indoor installations. This OM3 fibre patch cable supports reliable links over relatively long distances and is covered by a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction enables higher bandwidth for short- to medium-range optical networks and is compatible with standard LC connections for simple deployment. Using optical fibre eliminates metallic conductors, allowing installation in environments with electromagnetic interference and near power lines without signal degradation. Fibre transmission is inherently difficult to intercept remotely, offering enhanced security for sensitive data. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor use.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server room interconnects
• High-speed LAN backbone links
• Short- to medium-range campus or building fibre runs
• Environments with electromagnetic interference or near power infrastructure

How to use

Verify that your network equipment accepts LC duplex multimode connections, then route the Intellinet OM3 LC/LC 5m patch cable between the two LC ports ensuring correct polarity for full-duplex links. Use appropriate cable management (patch panels, cable ties, trays) to avoid excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent attenuation. Clean connector end-faces before installation with suitable fibre cleaning tools to ensure optimal signal transmission.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this OM3 LC/LC patch cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links within data centres, server rooms, and building backbones. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, keep connectors covered when not in use, and follow standard fibre handling and cleaning procedures to maintain low loss and reliable operation.
