Details make the difference. By carefully analyzing the convection design, ADATA presents you with exclusive LEGEND 960 MAX cooling fins, which can significantly reduce the temperature of SSD by 40%. You can enjoy the seamless gaming experience offered by the unique cooling design.

4TB Capacity? Challenge accepted
With 3D-stacked flash memory, the LEGEND 960 MAX provides you with capacities of up to 4TB. What's more, it comes with various protection and correction technologies, and high TBW (Total Bytes Written) for durability and reliability.

Eye-catching Performance
LEGEND 960 comes with SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer for advantages in system loading and data caching. It features 4K random read/write of up to 750K/630K IOPS for smoother multitasking.

Create Without Worry
LDPC (Low Density Parity check Code) and AES 256-bit encryption ensure data accuracy and file security.

SSD ToolBox Software
ADATA SSD Toolbox allows for the monitoring of drive health and remaining life through Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) attributes. It also lets you keep track of the current operating temperature, capacity, and total space used, plus keeps you up-to-date on firmware.

How to use

Install the M.2 drive into a compatible M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot on your desktop motherboard or laptop following the device and system manufacturer instructions. If you install the drive into a PS5, ensure the heatsink and overall module conform to Sony’s expansion slot size and fastening requirements. Initialize, partition and format the drive in your operating system as needed, then install your OS or move games and applications to the new drive. Use the ADATA SSD Toolbox to monitor health, temperature, capacity and firmware status.

Recommendations

For sustained peak performance, ensure adequate airflow around the M.2 slot and keep firmware up to date; the built-in heatsink and convection fins improve thermal dissipation but good chassis ventilation further helps reduce operating temperature and preserve long-term performance.
