IP-beveiligingscamera Ajax TurretCam 3840 x 2160 pixels

The Ajax TurretCam is a wired AI-powered IP security camera with 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution and a 110° field of view, designed for both indoor and outdoor ceiling-mounted installations. It offers night vision up to 35 meters, a fixed 2.8 mm focal length, 20 fps frame rate and wired Ethernet connectivity for reliable continuous monitoring. NDAA-compliant hardware and built-in AI features deliver clear images and fast streaming controlled through the Ajax app.

Advantages

The camera provides precise privacy controls, including configurable privacy zones and pixel movement detection that reduce false recordings and save archive space. Passwordless mTLS authentication secures each device to a single space without default passwords, and encrypted certificates protect cloud interactions. Multiple lens options and high-resolution imaging allow selection of the best balance between coverage and detail. Installation is simplified with a mounting template, hex key and secure screws, and full setup is completed through the Ajax app.

Suitable for

• Indoor ceiling surveillance of corridors, offices and rooms
• Outdoor monitoring of entrances, parking areas and yards (weather-protected ceiling mounts)
• Locations requiring privacy masking for sensitive areas
• Systems needing wired, NDAA-compliant IP cameras with centralized management

How to use

Mount the TurretCam on a suitable ceiling surface using the included template and screws. Connect the camera to power and wired Ethernet to ensure stable network access. Add the device to your Ajax space via the Ajax app using the guided pairing process — the camera uses passwordless mTLS authentication and encrypted certificates for secure connection. Configure privacy zones and motion detection areas in the app to limit recordings to relevant events and optimize archive storage. Use the Videowall feature in the app to arrange feeds from multiple cameras and MotionCam detectors for simultaneous monitoring.

Recommendations

Place the camera to maximize the 110° field of view while avoiding direct exposure to strong light sources; define privacy zones to hide sensitive items and set detection zones to reduce irrelevant triggers. For outdoor installations, ensure the mounting location offers appropriate weather protection and stable Ethernet connectivity.
