IP-bewakingscamera TP-Link InSight S245 2688x1520 buiten plafondmontage wit

The TP-Link InSight S245 is an outdoor IP security dome camera designed for ceiling installation. It records at 2688 x 1520 resolution and uses a CMOS sensor to provide clear images across a horizontal field of view of 88°, vertical 46° and diagonal 105.4°. The camera supports detection up to 80 m, observation up to 33 m and recognition up to 16 m, and comes in a white finish suitable for outdoor surveillance applications.

Advantages

The InSight S245 separates humans and vehicles from other moving objects to reduce false alerts and allows searching and filtering by people or vehicle attributes for faster post-event investigations. Image quality is improved by Smart Video Enhancement technologies: True WDR balances bright and dark areas in high-contrast scenes, Smart IR adjusts infrared illumination to limit overexposure and glare, 3D DNR reduces noise across frames while preserving detail, and automatic white balance maintains neutral colors. Efficient H.265+ compression lowers bandwidth and storage needs while maintaining image quality.

Suitable for

• Outdoor ceiling-mounted surveillance of entrances and perimeters
• Monitoring parking lots and driveways for vehicle and person detection
• Public or commercial exterior areas requiring longer detection ranges

How to use

Mount the camera to a suitable ceiling surface following local installation rules and the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the camera to power and the network according to TP-Link InSight setup procedures, configure resolution and detection settings in the camera web interface or management app, and position the camera to cover the intended area within the stated field of view and detection ranges. Use the built-in classification and search functions to filter recorded events by people or vehicles when reviewing footage.

Recommendations

Install at a height and angle that keep important zones within the recognition and observation distances; use H.265+ to reduce storage costs; enable True WDR and Smart IR in scenes with mixed lighting; periodically verify detection accuracy and update firmware through TP-Link channels.
