IP-camera Hikvision DS-2CD1027G2H-LIUF/SL 2,8 mm PL – 2 MP, 2,8-mm objectief, PoE, IR

Hikvision DS-2CD1027G2H-LIUF/SL 2.8mm PL is a compact 2MP IP camera with a fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens, designed for basic video surveillance in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The camera provides Full HD resolution video, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for simplified installation, and integrated infrared illumination that extends visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions. Its small form factor and fixed-angle view make it suitable for discreet monitoring of entrances, corridors, retail counters and residential areas where a reliable, constant field of view is required.

Advantages

The camera delivers clear 2MP video suitable for identification and general scene monitoring while keeping installation straightforward thanks to PoE. Integrated IR LEDs ensure usable images in low-light conditions without external lighting. Its fixed 2.8mm lens gives a wide field of view for covering medium to small areas with a single device, and the compact housing supports unobtrusive placement. The camera is compatible with standard IP video systems and common recording platforms, enabling straightforward integration into existing surveillance setups.

Suitable for

• Retail counters and small shops
• Office corridors and reception areas
• Residential entrances and hallways
• Small warehouses and storerooms (sheltered outdoor locations)

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels (Full HD)
• Fixed lens: 2.8 mm, wide-angle view
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
• Low-light performance: built-in infrared illumination for night/low-light monitoring

Adjust the fixed lens orientation during installation to frame the target area; perform focus checks and night-time verification to ensure the IR illumination provides adequate coverage. Record video to a compatible NVR, onsite server, or cloud service according to your monitoring and retention needs.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the camera under shelter to protect it from direct exposure to heavy rain and extreme weather. Use a PoE switch or injector that meets the camera’s power requirements, and secure network access with strong passwords and up-to-date firmware. Position the camera to avoid direct pointing at bright light sources to reduce glare and backlight issues; supplement with additional cameras when wider area coverage or PTZ functionality is required.
