Hikvision DS-2CD1147G3H-LIUF is a compact network camera designed for indoor and sheltered outdoor monitoring. Featuring a 2.8 mm fixed lens, the camera delivers a wide field of view suitable for general surveillance needs. The model integrates Hikvision’s imaging technology to provide clear color images in daytime conditions and enhanced low-light performance for night-time observation.

Advantages

The camera combines a wide-angle 2.8 mm lens with high-resolution imaging to cover corridors, retail spaces, offices and entrances with minimal blind spots. Built-in low-light enhancement enables improved detail in dim environments without relying solely on infrared illumination. Network connectivity supports remote viewing and integration with standard video management systems.

Key specifications

• Fixed focal length: 2.8 mm lens for wide field of view
• Network (IP) camera with standard Ethernet connectivity
• Compact form factor suitable for ceiling or wall mounting
• Optimized low-light imaging for improved color and detail at night
• Compatibility with common video management platforms and remote access

How to use

Install the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or ceiling using appropriate mounting hardware. Connect the device to your network via Ethernet and configure IP settings using the camera’s web interface or a Hikvision-compatible management application. Aim the 2.8 mm lens to cover the desired area, ensuring the wide-angle view aligns with your surveillance requirements. Adjust image settings (exposure, white balance, bit rate) in the camera menu for optimal daytime and nighttime performance.

Recommendations

Place the camera at an elevation that minimizes obstruction and vandal risk while keeping the field of view unobstructed. For consistent night-time color performance, combine the camera’s low-light capabilities with scene illumination when possible. Regularly update firmware and manage access credentials to maintain network security.
