Irix Edge MMS UV SR magnetisch UV-filter - 95mm

The Irix Edge MMS UV SR stands apart from conventional screw-on filters by using a magnetic mount system that snaps into place instantly, eliminating cross-threading and speeding up lens changes in the field. Built around 95mm Super Resistant optical glass, it delivers over 99.5% light transmission while cutting atmospheric haze and protecting your front element from dust, moisture, and impact.

Highlights

• Magnetic Mount System (MMS) for one-second attachment and removal
• Super Resistant (SR) optical glass with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings
• Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings repel water, oil, and fingerprints
• Ultra-slim aerospace-grade aluminum frame with scratch-resistant finish
• UV filtration reduces haze and improves clarity in outdoor scenes

In daily use

Leave the filter permanently mounted to guard your lens without compromising sharpness or colour neutrality. The magnetic interface holds securely during rapid movement, yet releases cleanly when you need to swap to a polarizer or ND. Because the glass is both water- and oil-repellent, cleaning is a quick wipe even in challenging weather.
