Irix Revo CPL 46mm circulair polarisatiefilter

Glare and reflections often wash out colors and hide details in outdoor photography. The Irix Revo CPL 46mm circular polarizer filter cuts through that haze, delivering richer skies, clearer water, and more vibrant foliage without post-processing. Its slim aluminum frame and multi-coated glass are built for everyday shooting, from landscape to travel.

Who is it for

Photographers who shoot outdoors and want to boost color saturation and contrast in-camera. Ideal for landscape, cityscape, and nature work where reflections on water, glass, or leaves can dull an image. The 46mm thread fits many compact and mirrorless lenses, and the low-profile design suits wide-angle optics without vignetting.

Main features

• Circular polarizer effect reduces reflections and deepens blue skies.
• 16-layer multi-coating with hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-scratch properties.
• Super-resistant optical glass with 99.5% light transmission.
• Slim aluminum frame, black anodized, with knurled edges for easy grip.
• Filter factor approximately 1.3 to 2.3 stops (2.5x to 5x).

Tips

Rotate the filter while looking through the viewfinder to find the strongest polarization effect—usually at 90 degrees to the sun. For wide-angle lenses, avoid over-polarizing the sky to prevent uneven banding. Keep the filter clean with a microfiber cloth; the hydrophobic coating makes water droplets bead off easily.
