Kabel DeLOCK DL4 solarkabel 6 mm² stekker naar bus 3 m zwart

The DeLOCK DL4 Solar Cable is a 3 m black photovoltaic cable with a 6 mm² conductor cross-section and one male and one female DL4 connector. It is designed to transmit power from solar panels to inverters or junction points and to provide a secure, weather-resistant connection in outdoor solar installations.

Advantages

The DL4 connectors feature a snap-in locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection while allowing release with the appropriate tool. The cable assembly is rated IP67, providing protection against dust and temporary immersion in water, which increases reliability in outdoor environments. The 6 mm² cross-section supports typical rooftop and small commercial PV applications where a compact, robust interconnect is required.

How to use

Route the cable between the solar module and the target device, ensuring the connectors match the mating DL4 sockets. Snap the male and female DL4 connectors together until the locking mechanism engages. To disconnect, use the designated release tool to unlock the snap-in connector before separating the plugs. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable along its run to reduce mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Use this DL4 solar cable in accordance with local electrical codes and the PV system manufacturer's installation instructions. Verify compatibility of voltage and current ratings for your system, keep connections clean and dry before assembly, and perform periodic visual inspections for damage or wear.
