Kabel gender changer RCA ShiverPeaks BS57041-G

The ShiverPeaks BS57041-G Cable Gender Changer RCA is a compact adapter designed to join two RCA cables quickly and reliably. It provides a simple solution for reversing or extending RCA connections in audio and video setups while maintaining signal continuity. The adapter has a black finish for a discreet appearance that blends with most AV equipment.

Advantages

This RCA gender changer features standard RCA connectors on both ends to ensure compatibility with a wide range of consumer audio and video cables. Its compact form factor allows installation in tight spaces behind AV racks or equipment. The black colour reduces visual distraction and helps keep connections tidy. The adapter is intended to preserve analogue audio and composite video signals without requiring additional tools or configuration.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing RCA lead by joining two female or two male RCA cables
• Connecting audio sources to amplifiers, receivers or speakers
• Linking composite video components such as DVD players, TVs and projectors
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in home theatre and music systems

Key specifications

• Intended signal: analogue audio and composite video
• Colour: black
• Form factor: compact inline adapter

How to use

To use the adapter, align the RCA plugs of the cables with the adapter’s RCA jacks and push them in until they fit securely. Ensure the connections are fully seated to maintain good signal transmission. The adapter requires no power or configuration and can remain in-line as part of a permanent installation or used temporarily when needed. Check cable polarity and connection orientation where applicable to avoid channel swapping in stereo setups.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use the adapter with good-condition RCA cables and avoid excessive bending near the connection points; keep cable runs as short as practical for analogue audio or composite video to reduce potential signal degradation.
