DeLOCK 60001 adapter USB A USB C zwart

The DeLOCK 60001 Cable Gender Changer USB A USB C Black converts a standard USB A plug into a USB C connection. This compact adapter allows devices and cables fitted with USB A connectors to interface with USB-C ports without altering the original cable. Its black housing offers a low-profile, practical solution for simple connector conversion in desktop, laptop and mobile setups.

Advantages

The adapter provides a straightforward mechanical conversion between USB A and USB C without requiring additional drivers or power. Its compact and lightweight design reduces desk clutter and simplifies connections when different generations of USB interfaces must be linked. The black finish ensures a neutral appearance that fits with most devices and cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB A cables or peripherals to devices with USB-C ports
• Adapting legacy chargers or data cables for USB-C only devices
• Temporary setups where replacing cables is not practical

The adapter performs a passive mechanical conversion; it does not change signal types or power delivery beyond the physical connector conversion. For data transfer, use cables and ports that support the required transfer speeds.

Recommendations

Use this gender changer for occasional or temporary connector conversion. For sustained high-current charging or where specific USB-C features (such as alternate modes or USB Power Delivery negotiation) are required, verify compatibility of the cable and device or consider using purpose-built USB-C cables or adapters that explicitly support those features.
