Kabeladapter DELOCK 64264 USB Type-C naar HDMI, DP Alt Mode, 8K 60 Hz HDR, 0,17 m, aluminium, zwart/grijs

DELOCK 64264 is a compact USB Type-C to HDMI adapter that uses DisplayPort Alternate Mode to convert a USB-C video output into an HDMI signal capable of up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320) at 60 Hz with HDR and HDCP support. Housed in a small aluminium shell in black and grey and measuring 0.17 m, the adapter is designed for use with laptops, tablets and other devices that support USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and it is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Advantages

The adapter delivers high-resolution video up to 8K at 60 Hz with HDR support while remaining small and lightweight. Its aluminium housing provides mechanical stability for frequent handling and travel, and the short integrated cable minimises clutter when connecting a laptop to an external monitor, TV or projector. The connector combination allows direct conversion from USB-C (DP Alt Mode) to standard HDMI displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB-C or Thunderbolt laptop to an HDMI monitor or TV for high‑resolution video playback
• Presentations on projectors or displays that accept HDMI input
• Portable setups where a compact, travel-friendly video adapter is needed

When it may not be suitable

This adapter requires a source device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C; it will not provide video output from USB-C ports that lack DP Alt Mode or from standard USB-A ports. For displays or use cases requiring refresh rates above 60 Hz at 8K or specialized audio return/channel features beyond standard HDMI pass-through, a different cable or active converter may be required.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.17 m
• Input connector: USB Type-C (male), supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode
• Output connector: HDMI (female)
• Maximum resolution: up to 7680 x 4320 pixels (8K) at 60 Hz
• HDR support: Yes

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C plug to a compatible laptop, tablet or device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (or a Thunderbolt 3/4 port). Plug an HDMI cable from the adapter into an HDMI monitor, TV or projector. The connected display should be recognised automatically by the host device; adjust resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics settings if necessary.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your source device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C or use a Thunderbolt 3/4 port
• Ensure your display and HDMI cable support the desired resolution and HDR features
• Short cable length (0.17 m) is convenient for portable use but may require an extension for some setups

Recommendations

For best results use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for the target resolution and HDR, and verify display settings after connection to enable 8K resolution and HDR in the host device's display or GPU control panel.
