Kabeladapter ShiverPeaks BS71220 2xRJ-11 zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS71220 2xRJ-11 Black wire connector is a female-to-female inline adapter that provides a straightforward way to join two RJ-11 telephone or low-voltage data cables. Its compact black housing makes it suitable for use in desktop, office, or home telephony installations where a short, reliable inline connection is required. The connector accepts standard 4-pin RJ-11 plugs and delivers a direct passthrough connection without additional electronics or signal conditioning.

Advantages

The connector offers a simple mechanical solution for extending or linking telephone lines by joining two RJ-11 cables. With a female/female design it eliminates the need to re-terminate cables or use a larger junction box. The compact form factor and neutral black finish allow discreet placement in confined spaces. The plug-and-play nature of the adapter requires no power or configuration and preserves the existing wire pinout for compatibility with common telephony equipment.

Suitable for

• Extending a telephone line by connecting two RJ-11 cables
• Linking modems, fax machines or cordless phone bases to wall cabling
• Temporary or permanent inline connections in small office/home office setups
• Tests and troubleshooting when verifying continuity of RJ-11 wiring

Key specifications

• Connector type: female-to-female inline adapter
• Interface: RJ-11 (4-position, 4-conductor compatible)
• Color: black
• Housing: compact insulated plastic body
• Use: designed for telephone and low-voltage signal cables

How to use

Insert an RJ-11 plug from one cable into one end of the adapter and insert the RJ-11 plug from the second cable into the opposite end. Ensure each plug clicks into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. The adapter is ready for immediate use after mating and does not require any software or additional tools. For removal, depress the plug latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the plug or adapter housing.

Recommendations

Use the connector only with standard low-voltage RJ-11 telephone or compatible data cables. Avoid exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures; place the adapter where it will not be subject to heavy mechanical stress or frequent bending of connected cables to ensure stable long-term contact.
