Kabelbescherming gevlochten slang DeLOCK 18900

The DeLOCK 18900 braided fiberglass sleeving provides thermal protection and electrical insulation for cables, wires and tubes. It is designed as a 2 m long sleeve with a maximum expandable diameter of approximately 2 mm, offering a flexible and durable solution to organize and protect exposed wiring while maintaining a neat appearance in white colour.

Advantages

The fiberglass construction offers resistance to high temperatures and provides electrical insulation. The braided design allows flexibility for routing and bundling, while the 2 m length covers multiple cable runs. The white colour helps the sleeving blend into light-coloured installations.

Suitable for

• Protecting individual cables, wires or small tubing from heat and abrasion
• Bundling exposed wiring to reduce clutter
• Insulating electrical connections in appliances, control panels or equipment

How to use

Measure the cable length to be covered and cut the sleeving to the required size. Slide the braided sleeving over the cable, wire or tube; for tight fits, expand the braid slightly by stretching it lengthwise while feeding the cable through. Secure the ends with heat-shrink tubing, cable ties or adhesive tape as needed to prevent fraying and to hold the sleeve in place.

Recommendations

Use the DeLOCK 18900 sleeving where thermal resistance and electrical insulation are required. Avoid exposure to chemicals or mechanical impacts beyond normal cable handling. For optimum protection at termination points, secure ends and inspect periodically for wear.
