Kabeldoorvoer DeLOCK 60355 zwart metaal kunststof 1 stuk

The DeLOCK 60355 cable gland provides a watertight seal for cable and electrical conduit lead-throughs. Constructed from black metal and plastic, this single-piece gland offers protection against dust and moisture while also incorporating a screw-on strain relief to secure the cable and reduce bending stress.

Advantages

The integrated screw-on strain relief fixes the cable in place and prevents it from slipping out or bending excessively, for example in machinery or vibrating environments. The gland is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, offering reliable protection against dirt and moisture. Its robust metal-plastic construction makes it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor applications.

Suitable for

• Cable lead-throughs in electrical enclosures
• Machinery and automation equipment
• Robotics installations
• Environments requiring dust- and waterproof seals (IP68)

How to use

Drill an appropriately sized hole in the housing or panel and insert the cable gland. Pass the cable through the gland, then screw the gland into the housing thread or secure it with the appropriate nut from the inside. Tighten the screw-on strain relief around the cable to secure its position and reduce bending; ensure the seal is compressed to achieve the IP68 protection.

Recommendations

Choose a hole diameter and thread size that match the gland and the housing. Verify cable diameter compatibility before installation and tighten the strain relief to prevent movement while avoiding overtightening that could damage the cable insulation.
