Kabelstekker RJ-45 zwart ShiverPeaks BS08-45006 stekker

The ShiverPeaks BS08-45006 male RJ-45 wire connector in black is a single-piece modular plug designed for terminating stranded or solid Ethernet cables. Built for straightforward installation, this connector provides a stable physical and electrical interface for network cables used in local area networks, patch panels, or custom cable assemblies. The compact black housing and gold-plated contacts support consistent signal transfer and corrosion resistance under normal operating conditions.

Advantages

This male RJ-45 connector features a compact design that facilitates reliable plug-in connections and reduces insertion force. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist oxidation for sustained performance. The molded housing provides mechanical protection for the contact area and cable entry, while the single-pack format is suited to one-off repairs or small custom cabling tasks.

Suitable for

• Terminating Ethernet patch cables (Cat5e/Cat6 mixed compatibility depending on cable type)
• Field repairs of damaged RJ-45 ends
• Custom-length network cable assemblies for office or home networks
• Connecting to switches, routers, patch panels, and network equipment

Key specifications

• Connector type: Male RJ-45 modular plug
• Color: Black housing
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Packaging: Single connector per pack
• Compatibility: Suitable for common Ethernet cable types (stranded and solid conductors)

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping a short length of outer jacket and arranging the conductor pairs in the required wiring order. Insert the conductors fully into the connector so each wire seats under its corresponding contact. Use an appropriate crimping or insertion tool compatible with RJ-45 modular plugs to secure the contacts to the conductors and fix the cable in place. Verify continuity and proper pair mapping with a network cable tester after termination before placing the cable into service.

Recommendations

For best results, use a crimping tool designed for modular RJ-45 plugs and select cable types that match the intended network category. Inspect the installed contact seating visually and test the terminated cable for continuity and performance to ensure reliable network operation.
