Kabelverbinder banaan ShiverPeaks BS56230-SET zwart blauw groen rood geel

The ShiverPeaks BS56230-SET wire connectors are female banana connectors supplied in five colours: black, blue, green, red and yellow. Supplied as a set of five, these connectors are intended to provide insulated, colour-coded termination for banana plugs in a range of electrical and electronic applications. Their construction combines an insulated housing with a female banana contact to allow secure, removable connections while keeping wiring organised by colour.

Advantages

These female banana wire connectors offer insulated, removable terminations that simplify testing, prototyping and modular wiring. Colour coding reduces the chance of miswiring and speeds up identification during assembly and maintenance. The connectors are designed for repeated mating cycles and provide a compact solution where a stable banana plug connection is required without soldering or permanent fixtures.

Suitable for

• Laboratory test leads and measurement rigs
• Audio equipment and speaker cable terminations
• Prototyping and electronic bench work
• Educational kits and training setups
• Field service and temporary wiring connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: female banana (socket) style
• Pack contents: five insulated connectors in black, blue, green, red and yellow
• Insulation: coloured plastic housings for identification
• Mounting/connection: wire entry for insulated conductor termination
• Application: removable banana plug connections for electrical and electronic use

How to use

Strip the wire to the recommended length for the connector and insert the conductor into the wire entry. Secure the conductor according to the connector’s internal fastening method (crimp, screw or push-fit as applicable). Insert a corresponding male banana plug into the female socket when making a connection. Ensure contacts are clean and free of corrosion before use and verify that the insulation fully covers exposed conductors to maintain safe handling.

Recommendations

Choose the colour coding scheme that best matches your workflow to reduce assembly errors. Use these connectors within the rated voltage and current limits of your system and inspect connections periodically for wear or loose contacts. Avoid exposing the connectors to excessive heat, chemicals or mechanical strain to maintain reliable performance.
