Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS50500-2 6,3 mm zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS50500-2 wire connector is a 6.3 mm male connector in black, supplied as a pack of two. It is intended for establishing reliable, removable connections in audio, video and general electrical applications where a standard 6.3 mm (1/4 inch) male terminal is required. The connector body is finished in black and shaped to fit common female 6.3 mm sockets, providing a compact and consistent mating interface.

Advantages

These 6.3 mm male wire connectors offer a straightforward mechanical and electrical connection that is easy to install and remove. Supplied in pairs, they allow for quick replacement or parallel connections. The black finish reduces visible wear and integrates well into consumer and professional equipment. They are designed for repeated mating cycles and consistent contact alignment to support stable signal and power transmission.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment connections such as instrument leads, patch bays, and speaker links
• Video and AV setups that use 6.3 mm jack-style terminals
• General electrical and low-voltage wiring where removable 6.3 mm male terminals are required
• Repair and maintenance of consumer electronics and pro-audio gear

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6.3 mm male wire connector
• Quantity: 2 pieces per pack
• Colour: black
• Application: audio, video and general electrical connections
• Mounting: wire/crimp or solder-ready terminal suitable for standard wiring

How to use

Strip the insulation from the end of the conductor to the length appropriate for the terminal barrel, then insert the conductor into the connector and secure it using the recommended method (crimping or soldering) for the specific terminal style. After attachment, insert the male connector into the matching 6.3 mm female socket until it seats firmly. Ensure secure mechanical support for the cable to avoid stress on the connector during use.

Recommendations

Use appropriate wire gauge and a correct crimping tool or soldering technique for reliable electrical contact. Verify compatibility with the female socket and intended signal or power levels; avoid exposure to moisture and excessive mechanical strain to maintain performance over time.
