Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS51310-2 2,5 mm zwart bus

The ShiverPeaks BS51310-2 wire connector is a compact female connector with a 2.5 mm contact interface in a black housing. Supplied as a pack of two pieces, this connector is intended for making consistent electrical connections in audio, video, and general low-voltage wiring tasks. Its small form factor supports installations where space is limited and a reliable removable connection is required.

Advantages

This 2.5 mm female wire connector offers consistent contact engagement and straightforward mating with compatible male plugs. The black housing provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible wiring runs, and the included pair gives redundancy for small projects or spares for maintenance. The design focuses on simple insertion and secure retention to reduce accidental disconnection during use.

Suitable for

• Audio and video signal wiring for small devices and accessories
• Low-voltage power connections in consumer electronics
• Prototyping and small-scale electronics repairs
• Replacement or spare connector needs in cabinets and enclosures

Key specifications

• Contact interface: 2.5 mm female
• Quantity in pack: 2 pieces
• Housing colour: black
• Application: low-voltage signal and power connections
• Mounting style: inline / cable connector

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping an appropriate length of insulation from the conductor, taking care not to nick the wire strands. Insert the conductor into the connector contact and secure it according to the connector's method of attachment (push-fit, crimp, or screw termination depending on the variant). Ensure the mating male plug is correctly aligned and push it into the female receptacle until a secure engagement is felt. Verify electrical continuity with a tester before powering the circuit.

Recommendations

Use the connector within the intended low-voltage ranges and compatible cable sizes. Avoid exposing the connector to excessive moisture or mechanical strain; provide strain relief where cables enter enclosures. Keep spare connectors from this pack for maintenance or replacements to ensure continuity of service.
