Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS57002 3,5 mm 6,3 mm zwart stekker/bus

The ShiverPeaks BS57002 wire connector provides a compact solution for connecting audio and electronic equipment using 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm terminations. Finished in black, this male/female connector set is built to enable reliable electrical contact between devices that require standard 3.5 mm (mini) or 6.3 mm (¼") connectors. The straightforward design supports typical signal and low-voltage connections found in consumer audio, instrument and small electronics setups.

Advantages

The connector combines two common diameters—3.5 mm and 6.3 mm—into a single component set, allowing compatibility with a wide range of jacks and plugs. Its black finish offers a discreet appearance that integrates with most equipment. The male and female terminations are purpose-made to provide consistent contact and minimise intermittent connections when properly installed.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones, headsets and portable audio devices with 3.5 mm sockets
• Linking musical instruments, amplifiers or professional audio gear using 6.3 mm jacks
• Adapting between devices that require male-to-female 3.5 mm or 6.3 mm connections
• Prototyping and repairing small electronic and audio projects

Key specifications

• Connector diameters: 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm
• Configuration: male and female terminations
• Colour: black
• Intended signals: audio and low-voltage electronic signals
• Form factor: inline wire connector compatible with standard sockets/plugs

How to use

Strip the cable insulation to expose the conductors and solder or secure them to the connector contacts according to the connector's wiring scheme, ensuring correct polarity for stereo or mono connections. Assemble the connector housing and verify that the male and female parts mate smoothly with the target jacks. After assembly, test the connection with the intended audio or electronic device at low volume or low power to confirm proper signal transfer and contact integrity.

Recommendations

Use the connector in environments free from excessive moisture and mechanical strain. When used for audio applications, avoid routing cables near sources of electrical interference and ensure strain relief is applied to prevent contact wear. For durable connections, solder joints or approved crimp contacts are recommended over temporary wraps.
