Kabelverbinder ShiverPeaks BS57072 6,3mm zwart roestvrij staal

The ShiverPeaks BS57072 wire connector is a 6.3mm male/female connector finished in black with stainless steel construction. Designed for secure electrical and audio connections, it provides a compact interface for joining cables and components where a reliable mechanical and electrical joint is required. The connector's metal construction and precise fit support repeated mating cycles and stable contact in applications that demand good conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The stainless steel body offers corrosion resistance and mechanical strength while the black finish reduces visible reflections and blends with dark cable assemblies. The 6.3mm dimension is a common standard for audio and general electrical connections, allowing compatibility with many sockets and plugs. Its male/female configuration ensures firm contact and stable signal transfer, and the durable materials support long service life under normal operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment connections (speakers, amplifiers, patch panels)
• General low-voltage electrical joins
• Repair and replacement of worn connectors in cables or devices
• Prototyping and small-scale electronic assemblies

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6.3mm male/female wire connector
• Material: stainless steel body
• Finish: black
• Intended use: mechanical and electrical cable joining
• Compatibility: fits standard 6.3mm sockets and plugs

How to use

Strip the cable insulation to expose the conductor, insert the conductor into the connector contact, and secure according to the connector's design (crimping, soldering or threaded fastening as applicable). Ensure correct polarity and alignment when mating male and female parts, and tighten or secure the connection to prevent movement. Inspect the joint visually for proper seating and, if required, test continuity with a multimeter to confirm electrical contact before full operation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate tools for crimping or fastening to avoid damage to the stainless steel body. For outdoor or high-humidity environments, verify that accompanying seals or insulation are suitable to maintain corrosion resistance and prevent ingress. When used in audio systems, match connector gender and size to existing equipment to ensure reliable signal transmission.
