he Kanguru Defender Elite300™ is designed to address the most demanding security standards for highly secure, fast-paced environments. With its military-grade FIPS 140-2 Certification, this Superspeed USB 3.0, hardware encrypted, password-protected flash drive is ideal for keeping sensitive government, financial or corporate information highly secure. Now available with up to 512GB capacity, store massive amounts of information under the best data encryption available.

Combining high-level security AES 256-bit hardware encryption with ultra-fast USB 3.0 speed and FIPS 140-2 certification, the Kanguru Defender Elite300 is an impressive secure thumb drive. Along with a physical write-protect switch, It includes robust antivirus by Award-Winning BitDefender®, tamper-resistant protection, as well as remote management capabilities and TAA Compliance for the most comprehensive security solution available in a hardware-encrypted flash drive.

Furthermore, all Kanguru Defender® encrypted USB flash drives are fully protected from any potential risks associated with "BadUSB" with digitally-signed secure firmware. The Defender Elite300 surpasses the most stringent federal, healthcare and financial industry security regulations in the world.

FIPS 140-2 Certification
The Kanguru Defender Elite300 hardware encrypted USB flash drive is FIPS 140-2 Certified.

Meet the most stringent federal, healthcare and financial industry security regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, GLBA, and more with this FIPS 140-2 Certified secure USB drive. FIPS 140-2 is a joint Certification program between NIST (National Institute of Standards) in the United States, and CSE (Communications Security Establishment) in Canada. It provides government guidelines regarding the security evaluation for cryptographic modules. Kanguru Solutions demonstrates that by meeting the level 2 threshold of FIPS 140-2, the Defender Elite300 has strong, tamper evident protections in place to prevent unauthorized access, attack, or brute force attempts to gain access to the sensitive data.

FIPS 197 AES 256-Bit Hardware Encryption
The Kanguru Defender Elite300 uses FIPS 197 Certified AES 256-bit Hardware encryption (XTS-Mode) to secure data contents stored on the USB drive. Since the cryptographic processes are all done in hardware, there is virtually no performance impact when transferring data, unlike the severe performance impact when using software encryption programs. XTS-mode also provides enhanced security when used to encrypt large blocks of data (as in GB’s) as it eliminates certain vulnerabilities and patterns which might be exploited in earlier symmetric key implementations. In addition, the password matching and other security operations are all done in the secure confines of the tamper-resistant, epoxy encapsulated cryptographic processor. In short, your data can not be compromised.

Featuring the New Command Console
Kanguru Defender encrypted USB drives are easy to use, now more than ever with the new built-in Command Console. View and access all of your drive settings and information at a glance, along with remaining space available on the drive, AntiVirus and KRMC subscription information, onboard applications and much more.

RSA-2048, Digitally-Signed Secure Firmware
Protect even more than just your data. Protect your network and infrastructure as well from malware tampering with built-in RSA-2048, Digitally-Signed Secure Firmware. Designed in compliance with NIST's requirements for securing device firmware, this drive is protected from "badUSB" to prevent malware attacks by a third-party. In the event of such an attack, the drive is designed to shut down, preventing the flash drive from being used as a vehicle for hackers. This makes it an ideal, trusted encrypted USB drive for whitelisting in an endpoint security environment.

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Interface
The Kanguru Defender Elite300 offers SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology (USB 3.2 Gen 1x1) for lightning-fast data transfers, while also maintaining compatibility with USB 2.0. Connecting the Defender Elite300 to a USB 3.0 supported USB port provides superior read / write speeds for quick, easy and convenient transfer of data.

OnBoard, World-Class Anti-Virus By BitDefender
Every Kanguru Defender Elite300 hardware encrypted USB flash drive comes with integrated onboard antivirus by Award-Winning BitDefender (30-day FREE trial)(1). Built right into the flash drive, the antivirus consistently scans the drive in the background, adding a layer of defense to protect your files from viruses, malware or spyware.
