Kensington ErgoSoft polssteun voor standaardtoetsenborden

The Kensington ErgoSoft Wrist Rest for Standard Keyboards K52799WW is a gel-cushioned support pad designed to reduce wrist strain during extended typing sessions. The product features an ultra-soft exterior with gel padding, a low-profile curved shape, non-skid rubber backing and a black finish. It is sized for standard keyboards with a front height of 10 mm–20 mm and is manufactured in Taiwan.

Advantages

The gel-cushioned construction provides soft, durable support that resists sticking to skin and wipes clean easily. The ergonomic design was developed with input from ergonomists to promote proper wrist alignment and help minimise the impact of repetitive strain. The low-profile, professional appearance includes a non-skid rubber base to prevent slipping during work or gaming. The surface meets MIL-STD-810H Method 504.3 testing for resistance to breakdown when exposed to cleaning and disinfecting fluids for at least 24 hours.

How to use

Place the wrist rest directly in front of your keyboard so your wrists rest comfortably on the gel cushion while your hands reach the keys. Ensure the keyboard front height is within the compatible range (10 mm–20 mm) for correct alignment. Adjust keyboard position and chair height as needed so wrists remain in a neutral, straight position while typing.

Recommendations

Clean the surface with mild disinfecting solutions compatible with MIL-STD-810H Method 504.3; avoid abrasive cleaners. Periodically check the non-skid backing for wear to maintain stable placement.
