Advantages

The CS3120 Cordless model offers a balance of portability and performance, eliminating the constraints of a power cable while providing sufficient cutting power for small to medium tasks. Its 12-inch bar enables maneuverability in tight spaces, and the tool-free tensioning mechanism reduces downtime for chain adjustments. The lightweight build and ergonomic handle contribute to user comfort during repetitive cuts, and built-in safety features improve operational security.

Suitable for

• Pruning branches and trimming hedges
• Cutting small to medium firewood and logs
• Clearing fallen limbs and yard cleanup
• Light construction or landscaping tasks around homes

Key specifications

• Bar length: 12 inches (approx. 30 cm)
• Power type: cordless, battery-operated
• Chain tensioning: tool-free adjustment system
• Design: lightweight and compact for improved maneuverability
• Safety features: safety switch and ergonomic grip

How to use

Before operation, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted according to the tool’s charging indicators. Inspect the chain for proper tension using the tool-free tensioning control and verify chain lubrication. Hold the saw with both hands, maintain a stable stance, and start the motor using the safety switch sequence. Feed the bar into the cut with steady pressure—avoid forcing the saw—and allow the chain to do the work. After cutting, release the trigger, wait for the chain to stop, then set the tool down on a stable surface before removing or adjusting any components.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and appropriate footwear when operating the chainsaw. Regularly check and maintain chain sharpness and lubrication, and follow proper charging and storage procedures for the battery to extend runtime and service life.
