Use smooth, controlled motions for peeling, paring and trimming to maintain an even edge and reduce the risk of slipping. Work on a stable cutting surface and avoid twisting the blade during use to preserve its sharpness and shape. After use, rinse and dry the knife promptly to prevent moisture contact with the blade.

Recommendations

For best performance, hone the blade regularly and hand-wash with mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged soaking. Store the knife in a knife block or on a magnetic strip to protect the edge and ensure safety. Use the 8 cm Tourniermesser for tasks requiring precision rather than heavy chopping.
