Klapmes Opinel N°08 Collector zwart lemmet 8,5 cm

The Opinel N°08 Collector Black features a drop point blade 8.5 cm long and a classic slip-joint mechanism. The handle is made from jet black African ebony, a dense wood with a velvety feel that gives the knife a refined appearance while maintaining practical durability. A safety ring (Virobloc) secures the blade in the closed position for safer handling and storage.

Advantages

Dense African ebony provides a smooth, premium tactile finish without compromising strength. The 8.5 cm drop point stainless steel blade offers precise cutting for everyday tasks. The traditional Opinel slip-joint design combines simplicity and reliability, and the integrated safety ring reduces the risk of accidental opening during transport and storage.

Recommendations

Regularly oil the pivot and, for wooden handles, apply a light wood oil occasionally to preserve the ebony's appearance. Keep the blade sharp and stored dry to extend service life.
