How to use

Measure the fixture, frame or gobo holder opening and mark the filter sheet for cutting. Use appropriate cutting tools to trim the sheet to the required size and secure it in a suitable frame, clamp or holder designed for lighting gels. When installing near hot lamps, ensure the filter is mounted at a safe distance according to fixture manufacturer guidelines and verify compatibility with the fixture's heat rating. For photographic or studio use, test the straw tint on white balance and exposure settings to achieve the desired visual effect.

Recommendations

Store the sheet flat or rolled without tight creasing to avoid permanent folds. Handle with clean hands or gloves to prevent oils or dirt transferring to the material. Replace sections that show heat damage or discoloration. For long-term installations near high-temperature light sources, consult fixture specifications and consider heat-resistant holders or additional diffusion layers.
