Apply light to moderate pressure for filling color evenly; increase pressure slightly for more saturated tones or light shading. For fine details, use the sharpened tip and refresh the point with a child-safe sharpener as needed. Combine colors from the set to teach basic blending and layering techniques on paper suitable for colored pencils.

Recommendations

Store pencils in a dry place and keep the set away from direct sunlight to preserve pigment quality. Supervise younger children during sharpening and recommend use of an age-appropriate pencil sharpener. For best results, use smooth to medium-texture paper and test color intensity on a scrap sheet before applying to a final project.
