Knoopcel RENATA 701095 3V lithium — vervanging voor horloges en kleine elektronica

RENATA 701095 is a 3V lithium button/coin cell battery intended for powering watches, small electronic devices and portable instruments where a compact, stable power source is required. The battery delivers a reliable 3V output in a compact round package and is suitable as a direct replacement when the physical size and voltage match the device requirements. Its chemistry provides a long shelf life and consistent voltage under light to moderate load conditions commonly found in timepieces and small electronics.

Advantages

The lithium chemistry provides a high energy density and long shelf life while maintaining stable voltage during discharge. Its compact, standardized shape ensures compatibility with many watch models and small consumer electronics. Low self-discharge characteristics make it suitable for devices that remain unused for long periods between battery changes. The battery's stable output under typical small-load conditions supports accurate timekeeping and reliable operation of low-power circuits.

Suitable for

• Wristwatches and pocket watches
• Calculators and small electronic calculators
• Key fobs and remote controls
• Medical devices such as glucometers and thermometers (check device specifications)
• Small sensors, fitness devices and toys requiring a 3V coin cell

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage: 3 V
• Cell type: lithium button/coin cell
• Typical application: low-drain electronic devices and timepieces
• Form factor: compact round coin cell suitable for standard 3V battery compartments
• Shelf life: long (lithium chemistry with low self-discharge)

How to use

Ensure the device specifies a compatible 3V coin cell of the same physical size before replacing the battery. Turn the device off or follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe battery replacement. Observe polarity when inserting the battery: the positive side is typically marked and should match the device's orientation. After replacement, verify the device functions correctly and that any time or settings are adjusted as necessary. Dispose of the used battery according to local battery recycling regulations.

Recommendations

Store unused batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and metal objects to prevent short circuits. Avoid mixing new and used batteries or different chemistries in the same device. For medical or safety-critical devices, follow the device manufacturer's guidance on battery replacement intervals and handling.
