Koelbox Mobicool MCF40 38L Electric Blue Grey

The Mobicool MCF40 38L Electric Blue Grey is a portable electric cool box with a 38-litre capacity designed for reliable temperature control between -10 °C and 10 °C. The unit accommodates standard 1.5 L bottles and combines AC and DC power compatibility (230 V AC and 12/24 V DC) to operate from household sockets or vehicle power outlets. Polyurethane insulation and a compact footprint (365 mm width, 584 mm depth, 446 mm height) make it suitable for outdoor trips, day excursions and vehicle use. An integrated LED display allows for straightforward monitoring and adjustment of the internal temperature.

Advantages

The MCF40 cool box offers targeted cooling performance with a wide temperature range down to -10 °C while remaining energy-efficient thanks to its insulated casing. Its dual-power capability (AC and DC) provides flexible use at home, in the car or at a campsite. The LED display provides clear, immediate readout of the set and actual temperatures. Lightweight construction and a 38 L capacity balance portability with usable storage space for drinks, food and perishables.

Suitable for

• Car trips and campervans where 12/24 V power is available
• Day picnics and beach visits requiring portable cooling
• Weekend camping and outdoor activities
• Transporting groceries or temperature-sensitive items

How to use

Place the cool box on a stable, level surface and ensure ventilation around the unit when using the AC or DC power connection. Connect to the appropriate power source (household AC socket or vehicle 12/24 V outlet) using the supplied cables. Use the LED display to set the desired temperature within the available range; allow time for the internal compartment to reach the set temperature before loading with perishable items. Arrange bottles and containers to allow airflow; avoid blocking the ventilation vents. For transport, secure the cool box to prevent tipping and avoid powering it while the vehicle is switched off for extended periods to prevent battery drain.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling efficiency, pre-chill items where possible and minimize opening the lid during use. Keep the exterior clean and check seals periodically to ensure tight closure. When using DC power in a vehicle, monitor the vehicle battery level and use the cool box with the engine running on long sessions to avoid draining the battery.
