Koelsysteemonderdeel Alphacool 17282

The Alphacool 17282 cooling system part is a compact connector component designed for liquid cooling installations. Finished in matte black, it provides a male/female coupling with a 1/4" connecting thread and a compact body suitable for tight mounting spaces. With a length (depth) of 64.6 mm, a diameter of 2.39 cm and a weight of 108 g, the component aims to integrate into existing cooling loops to assist in routing and connecting tubing and fittings while maintaining consistent fluid flow.

Advantages

The single-piece connector offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance that matches most black-themed cooling builds. Its 1/4" thread standard ensures compatibility with a wide range of liquid cooling fittings and adapters, while the male/female configuration enables flexible connection options without requiring additional adapters. The modest size and weight make it suitable for installations where space and clearance are limited.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops requiring a compact male/female connector
• Upgrading or replacing existing fittings in black-themed builds
• Routing coolant through constrained or tight mounting areas

Key specifications

• Color: black (matte finish)
• Connecting thread: 1/4"
• Connector type: male/female
• Depth (length): 64.6 mm
• Outer diameter: 2.39 cm
• Weight: 108 g

How to use

Install the Alphacool connector by threading the 1/4" ends into compatible fittings or ports in your cooling loop, ensuring threads are engaged evenly to avoid cross-threading. Use appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape where recommended by your cooling components to prevent leaks. Position the connector to maintain smooth tubing routing and avoid sharp kinks; secure adjacent fittings and tubing clamps as needed. After assembly, perform a pressure or leak test according to your system's maintenance procedures before powering the computer.

Recommendations

Use with fittings and tubing rated for PC liquid cooling; avoid overtightening to protect threads. Check for compatibility with your existing fittings' material and finish to prevent galvanic reactions, and perform a leak test after installation.
