Koepeltent Coleman Darwin 3 Plus 3 personen groen grijs

The Coleman Darwin 3 Plus 3 Person Green Grey is a dome tent designed to accommodate up to three people. Constructed with a fiberglass frame and weather-resistant polyester fabric, the tent offers a balance of lightweight portability and basic protection from wind and rain. With internal dimensions of approximately 1800 mm width, 3200 mm depth and 1300 mm height it provides a sleeping area suitable for three occupants and some gear, while remaining compact enough for backpacking and casual outdoor use.

Advantages

The tent combines a dome/igloo design with a durable fiberglass frame that keeps weight low at 4.9 kg while maintaining structural stability. Weather-resistant polyester fabric helps shed light rain and wind, and the compact footprint and moderate height make pitching and packing straightforward. The two-tone grey and green color scheme is practical for outdoor settings and easy to spot among foliage.

Suitable for

• Camping trips with up to three people
• Backpacking or short hiking tours where lightweight shelter is required
• Weekend outdoor recreation and festivals
• Family outings where a compact, easy-to-erect tent is needed

Key specifications

• Type: Dome/Igloo tent
• Sleeping capacity: 3 persons
• Frame material: Fiberglass
• Outer fabric: Weather-resistant polyester
• Weight: 4.9 kg
• Exterior colours: Grey and Green
• Approximate internal dimensions: 1800 mm (width) × 3200 mm (depth) × 1300 mm (height)

How to use

Choose a level, debris-free campsite and lay out the tent footprint. Assemble the fiberglass poles and insert them into the corresponding sleeves or clips, then raise the dome shape and secure the base corners. Attach the outer polyester fly or cover if separate, and stake or guy the tent to the ground to improve stability in wind. Arrange sleeping mats and equipment inside, taking care to distribute weight evenly to preserve internal space. After use, allow the tent to dry before packing to reduce moisture buildup.

Recommendations

For prolonged protection and to extend fabric life, avoid exposing the tent to intense sunlight for extended periods and store it dry. Use a groundsheet or footprint to reduce abrasion to the tent floor, and check the fiberglass poles and seams periodically for wear. In stronger winds, add extra guy lines and low-profile staking to improve stability. Follow manufacturer care instructions for cleaning and storage.
