Koffiezetapparaat Pedrini 9114-8 aluminium pannetje 6 kopjes donkergrijs

The Pedrini 9114-8 aluminum stovetop coffee maker brews up to six espresso-style cups using the classic moka pot principle. Finished in dark grey, the compact unit is made from lightweight aluminum and is compatible with gas and many types of electric stoves. It produces concentrated coffee suitable for straight espresso-like servings or as a base for americano and milk-based drinks. The simple construction includes a lower water chamber, a filter basket for ground coffee, and an upper collector for brewed coffee, enabling quick extraction and straightforward cleaning.

Advantages

The Pedrini stovetop coffee maker offers rapid brewing and durable lightweight construction that favours portability for home, office or travel use. Its aluminum body ensures even heat transfer for consistent extraction while the dark grey finish resists visible staining. The design requires no electricity to operate on compatible cooktops, and the user-replaceable gasket and filter plate make routine maintenance uncomplicated.

Suitable for

• Preparing concentrated coffee for espresso-style servings
• Making americano, lungo or milk-based beverages (latte, cappuccino) when combined with frothed milk
• Use in small kitchens, offices and while travelling where compact brewing equipment is preferred

Key specifications

• Capacity: up to 6 espresso-style cups
• Material: aluminum body for efficient heat conduction
• Finish: dark grey exterior
• Compatibility: suitable for gas and many electric stovetops (check cooktop manufacturer guidance)
• Components: lower water chamber, filter basket for ground coffee, upper coffee collector
• Weight: compact and lightweight for easy handling and storage

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with water up to the safety valve level, insert the filter basket and add medium-fine ground coffee without tamping. Assemble the top and bottom sections securely, place the moka pot on a suitable heat source and heat gently until coffee begins to flow into the upper chamber. Remove from heat once extraction slows and allow a brief pause to let remaining pressure subside before serving. After cooling, disassemble and rinse all parts; avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the finish.

Recommendations

Use filtered water for cleaner taste, grind coffee to a medium-fine consistency specifically for moka pots, and avoid overfilling the filter basket. Heat on moderate flame or power to prevent rapid boiling and improve extraction; replace the gasket and filter plate periodically to maintain a proper seal and consistent results.
