Kogelkraan XSPC G1/4 — messing behuizing, matzwart oppervlak, G1/4-schroefdraad

The XSPC G1/4 ball valve is a compact shut-off valve with a solid brass body and a matt black finish, designed for G1/4 threaded water-cooling and fluid-management systems. It provides reliable on/off flow control with a quarter-turn mechanism and is compatible with standard G1/4 fittings and tubing assemblies. The valve is intended for use in PC liquid cooling loops, custom plumbing runs, and for repair or replacement of existing G1/4 components where a durable, low-profile shut-off solution is required.

Advantages

The brass body ensures mechanical strength and corrosion resistance while the matt black finish offers a low-reflective appearance that integrates with most system builds. The quarter-turn ball design allows quick and precise flow control with minimal maintenance. Its G1/4 threading provides wide compatibility with common fittings and adapters used in liquid-cooling setups. Compact dimensions and a straightforward connection method simplify installation and replacement in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• PC liquid cooling loops and custom water-cooling systems
• Inline shut-off for radiator, pump or reservoir lines
• Repair or replacement of existing G1/4 threaded plumbing components
• DIY custom tubing assemblies and modded enclosures

Key specifications

• Body material: brass
• Finish: matt black
• Thread type: G1/4 compatible
• Operation: quarter-turn ball valve (on/off)
• Connection: threaded G1/4 inlet/outlet for standard fittings

How to use

Install the valve into a G1/4 threaded port or inline using appropriate G1/4 fittings and thread seal as required by your system. Rotate the lever or actuator a quarter turn to open or close the flow path; the ball mechanism provides a clear open/closed position. When installing, hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading and tighten with appropriate tools until secure but do not over-torque. Verify leak-tightness before returning the system to normal operation and perform a pressure or leak test according to your cooling system procedures.

Recommendations

For best results use compatible G1/4 fittings and PTFE tape or suitable thread sealant rated for coolant systems. Avoid aggressive chemicals that could harm seals and flush the loop after maintenance. Periodically check for leaks and ensure the valve actuator moves freely; lubricate with a compatible, non-reactive lubricant if necessary.
