Why choose it

The Ridgehiker Zero strikes an ideal balance between featherlight swing weight and trail-tough construction. The carbon shaft absorbs trail vibration, reducing fatigue on long descents, while the Powerlock 3.0 mechanism holds firm even under heavy load. The foam grip wicks moisture and the padded strap prevents chafing, so you can focus on the scenery, not your hands.

Ideal use cases

• Multi-day trekking and fastpacking where weight matters
• Day hikes on varied terrain, from forest paths to rocky summits
• Backpacking trips requiring compact, packable gear
• Hikers seeking joint relief on steep ascents and descents

Good to know

These poles are unisex and adjust from 105 to 140 cm, fitting most adults. The interchangeable Vario basket system lets you swap between summer and winter baskets (sold separately) for year-round use. No shock absorber is included, preserving stiffness for efficient power transfer. Collapsed length of 67 cm fits easily into most backpack side pockets or luggage.
