Komstaalborstel KWB 609113 5 cm diameter 6 mm schacht

The KWB 609113 cup brush has a 5 cm diameter and a 6 mm shank, combining brass wire filaments with a crimped construction to provide corrosion resistance and consistent surface contact. It is intended for use with rotary power tools to perform fine cleaning, paint removal, polishing and achieving a matt finish on metal and stone surfaces, and is suitable for working on medium-sized areas.

Advantages

The brass wire and crimped design reduce corrosion and maintain filament alignment for even material removal. Its 5 cm diameter and 6 mm shank make it compatible with many standard rotary tools and allow controlled work on medium-sized areas. The brush is suitable for delicate surface preparation where a softer wire is required compared with steel brushes.

How to use

Fit the 6 mm shank securely into the chuck of a compatible rotary tool. Run the tool at the recommended speed for brass wire brushes and apply light to moderate pressure while moving the brush evenly across the work area. Maintain consistent motion to avoid concentrated wear and check the workpiece frequently to assess progress.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and a dust mask. Do not exceed the tool speed recommended for brass wire brushes, and avoid excessive pressure to prevent damage to the surface or premature wear of the brush.
