Koolmonoxide-sensor QOLTEC 52577 — batterijgevoed alarm, 85 dB geluidsniveau

QOLTEC 52577 is a battery-powered carbon monoxide (CO) sensor with an integrated alarm producing 85 dB. Designed to detect elevated and dangerous levels of CO in indoor environments, this compact unit is intended for use in homes, apartments and small offices where CO buildup can occur. The device provides an audible warning to prompt occupants to evacuate or ventilate spaces and helps reduce the risk of CO poisoning by signaling hazardous concentrations promptly.

Advantages

The QOLTEC 52577 combines battery operation with a built-in 85 dB alarm to ensure functionality during power outages and deliver a clear audible alert when CO is detected. Its compact design allows flexible placement in living areas and small workspaces, and the straightforward single-purpose function focuses on rapid detection and alarm without complex configuration. Being battery powered, the sensor can be positioned where CO is most likely to accumulate, independent of mains wiring.

• Small offices and enclosed workspaces
• Garages, workshops and areas near fuel-burning appliances where CO may accumulate

Key specifications

• Power source: battery operation for standalone functionality
• Alarm output level: 85 dB audible alarm

How to use

Install the QOLTEC 52577 at a height and location appropriate for the indoor layout, following the manufacturer’s placement guidelines: away from direct sources of combustion and not blocked by curtains or furniture. Insert the required batteries and perform any initial power or self-test sequence indicated by the device before regular use. If the alarm sounds, follow local safety procedures: ventilate the area, evacuate occupants if necessary, and seek fresh air. Replace batteries as recommended by the manufacturer and carry out periodic tests to confirm the sensor and alarm operate correctly.

Recommendations

Place the sensor in rooms adjacent to potential CO sources, avoid installation directly above stoves or heaters, and maintain clear airflow around the unit. Test the alarm regularly and replace batteries promptly when low battery indications appear to ensure continuous protection.
