Koppelingsbehuizing Harting M20 19200030720 IP65 — beschermbehuizing van metaal voor kabelwartels

Harting coupling housing M20 19200030720 IP65 is a metal protective connector housing designed for safe and durable cable gland and coupling installation. The housing provides mechanical protection and environmental sealing for cable entries and connector interfaces with an M20 thread size and IP65 ingress protection rating. It is intended for use in industrial electrical installations, control cabinets and machinery where a compact, robust metal housing is required to prevent dust ingress and resist low-pressure water jets.

Advantages

The metal construction ensures high mechanical strength and long service life in demanding environments, while the IP65 rating offers reliable protection against dust and splashing water. The M20 thread size enables compatibility with a wide range of standard cable glands and connector accessories. The housing's design simplifies mounting and provides secure fixation of cable entries and connector couplings, reducing the risk of strain or damage to internal connections.

Suitable for

• Industrial control panels and switchgear
• Machine tool and automation cabinets
• Field junctions and cable distribution points
• Enclosures requiring sealed connector entries

Key specifications

• Material: metal housing for enhanced mechanical protection
• Thread size: M20 for cable glands and threaded accessories
• Ingress protection: IP65 — dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets
• Application environment: indoor and protected outdoor industrial use

How to use

Mount the coupling housing at the required cable entry point using appropriate screws or mounting hardware. Fit a compatible M20 cable gland or threaded connector into the housing and tighten to secure the cable or connector. Ensure sealing elements and gaskets are correctly positioned before final tightening to maintain IP65 protection. Verify mechanical fixation and cable strain relief after installation to prevent movement or damage to connections.

Recommendations

Use compatible M20 cable glands and check that sealing rings are undamaged before installation. For applications subject to frequent wash-downs or immersion, evaluate whether a higher ingress protection rating is required. Inspect the housing and seals periodically as part of routine maintenance to ensure continued environmental protection and mechanical integrity.
