Krimpkous DeLOCK 18943 zwart 5 m 2,2 cm

The DeLOCK 18943 heat shrink tube is a 5 m long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 2.2 cm. It is designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical connections by shrinking tightly around them when heat is applied, providing mechanical protection and increased resistance to environmental effects.

Advantages

The polyolefin material offers reliable insulation and good heat resistance. The 5 m length and 2.2 cm maximum diameter make the sleeve suitable for multiple uses and different cable sizes. The black colour provides a neat, discreet appearance and UV resistance for outdoor applications.

Suitable for

• Insulating electrical wires and cable joints
• Protecting cable harnesses from abrasion and moisture
• Repairing damaged insulation on power or signal cables
• Bundling and organizing multiple cables

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length and slide it over the cable or joint. Apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun or hot air tool) until the sleeve shrinks tightly around the component and adheres to its shape. Allow the sleeve to cool to ensure a secure fit.

Recommendations

For best results, use a regulated heat gun set to an appropriate temperature for polyolefin materials and heat evenly from a suitable distance to avoid overheating adjacent components. Ensure the cable and work area are clean and dry before shrinking.
