Krimptang ShiverPeaks BS02-22002 blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS02-22002 Blue cable crimper is a compact hand tool designed for precise crimping of connectors on a variety of solid and stranded cables. Its ergonomic handles and balanced weight distribution allow for controlled operation during repetitive tasks, while the hardened jaws provide consistent pressure to form secure connections. The tool is suitable for both field and workshop use, offering dependable mechanical performance for professional electricians and DIY enthusiasts.

Advantages

The crimper features an ergonomic grip that reduces hand fatigue and improves control during prolonged use. A robust construction and heat-treated crimping jaws ensure durability and consistent crimp quality over many cycles. The compact size makes it convenient to carry in a toolkit or pocket, and the blue finish provides a visible, easy-to-identify tool among other equipment.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals
• Preparing cable assemblies for household and industrial wiring
• Electrical repairs and maintenance work
• DIY electronics and hobby projects requiring reliable connector terminations

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual cable crimper
• Handle: ergonomic, non-slip grip
• Jaw material: hardened steel for wear resistance
• Color: blue finish for easy identification
• Weight: compact and lightweight for portable use
• Application range: suitable for various connector types and cable sizes commonly used in domestic and light industrial wiring

How to use

Select the appropriate connector and strip the cable to the recommended length. Insert the stripped conductor into the connector barrel, position the connector in the crimper jaws, and apply steady pressure on the handles until the crimp is complete. Inspect the crimped joint to ensure the conductor is secured and there is no visible damage to insulation. For repetitive jobs, maintain a consistent hand motion and allow brief pauses to avoid overheating hands or the tool.

Recommendations

Use the tool within the specified cable size range and avoid forcing connectors that do not fit the jaw profile. Periodically clean and lightly lubricate the pivot points to maintain smooth operation. Store the crimper in a dry place to prevent corrosion and check jaws for wear before critical installations.
