Kruiden- & koffiemolen Rommelsbacher EGK 250 - 200 W, 2 reservoirs

The Rommelsbacher EGK 250 electric food chopper is a compact stainless steel grinder designed for quick and hygienic processing of coffee beans, spices, herbs, nuts and sugar. Powered by a 200 W motor and supplied with two removable stainless steel containers — a grinding container with a 2-blade impact knife and a universal container with a 4-blade special knife — it delivers consistent results for both fine grinding and coarser chopping. Transparent lids allow visual control during processing, while the compact footprint (10.5 × 11.5 × 20 cm) makes it suitable for small kitchens.

Advantages

The unit combines a hygienic stainless steel housing with dishwasher-safe removable parts for easy maintenance. Adjustable time control from 5 to 30 seconds (in 5 s steps), three speed settings and a pulse function provide precise control over grind texture and chopping intensity. Safety features include a cut-out that prevents operation when the lid is open. The set also includes a coffee scoop with a cleaning brush for convenient measuring and post-use cleaning.

How to use

Place the desired ingredients into the appropriate removable container: use the 2-blade impact knife container for fine grinding (for example coffee or sugar) and the 4-blade special knife container for chopping or coarser milling (for example herbs, nuts or mixed spices). Close the transparent lid securely — the appliance will not start unless the lid is properly in place. Select the required time in 5-second increments up to 30 seconds, choose one of the three speed settings or use the pulse function for short bursts. After processing, open the lid, remove the container and empty the contents. Allow blades and container to cool before handling if needed.

Recommendations

For even results, process small batches and pulse intermittently when working with oily or sticky ingredients. Avoid overfilling containers; cut larger pieces into smaller portions before grinding. Clean removable parts promptly after use — they are suitable for the dishwasher — and dry thoroughly to maintain the stainless steel finish and blade performance.
