KS TOOLS 10 mm schokdemper speciaalprofiel tegenhouder-bit-dopsleutel, 5,2 x 8,0 mm (150.9435)

When servicing shock absorbers on VW and Audi vehicles, the piston rod often rotates freely, making removal and installation a challenge without the right tool. The KS TOOLS 150.9435 solves this with an integrated counter-holder bit that locks into the special oval profile of the piston rod, allowing you to loosen or tighten the top nut without damage. Its 10 mm hex drive on the opposite end connects to a standard 1/2" socket wrench, giving you the leverage needed for stubborn fasteners.

Highlights

• Dual-function design: 10 mm hex bit socket and 5.2 x 8.0 mm special oval counter-holder in one tool
• Precision-machined from chrome vanadium steel with a matt chrome finish for corrosion resistance and long service life
• Specifically engineered for VAG group shock absorbers (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda)
• Compact 43 mm overall length fits easily into tight suspension areas
• Meets DIN 3120 / ISO 1174 standards for 1/2" square drive compatibility

In daily use

Place the special oval profile over the shock absorber piston rod, then use a 1/2" ratchet or torque wrench on the hex end. The counter-holder keeps the rod stationary while you turn the nut, preventing damage to the seal and ensuring correct torque. The matt chrome surface resists scratches and is easy to clean after use. This tool is a must-have for any professional workshop or serious DIY mechanic dealing with European suspension systems.
